i was born and raised in brooklyn, ny to two muslim-albanian immigrants - a background i take much pride in. i was always a crafty, artistic, restless kid. dance was my first passion, and the “gateway drug” to my love for the worlds of film, photo, and performance. you can still find me dancing with the neighbors, an nyc-based hip hop, street, and club style dance team.
i most recently spent 3 years at neo, a venture fund and startup accelerator. i oversaw the program for one of the best startup accelerators in silicon valley (neo accelerator), developed our content strategy, built out partnerships, advised portfolio companies on brand and identity, and managed investment and event operations.
i graduated magna cum laude from princeton university in 2021, receiving a b.a. in public policy and international affairs with a focus on counterterrorism, and a minor in dance. i spent most of my time leading princeton’s premier genre-expansive dance company, bodyhype dance co., as artistic director and, before that, as vice president / creative director. outside of my studies and art making, i spent time in the startup world. in 2019, i directed the only all-expenses paid undergraduate design conference in the united states, design nation. in 2020, i interned at cartful solutions, an nyc-based startup, in a wear-all-hats kind of role reporting to the CEO.
while i work with a range of people, you may find me particularly useful if you’re looking for someone to be your creative partner in producing video / photo content or manage a complex creative process. if you’re interested in getting in touch, shoot me an email!
